Upcoming release

It is nearly time. Very soon the new CMC Mercedes Targa Florio models will arrive in scale 1/18. They are already in production.
It is not just a re-production of the already well-known model from 2003 with the start number 10, the winner of the Targa Florio 1924, we are also offering three new variants. With the starting number 32 the second winner of the Targa Florio 1924 and with the start number 23 the third.
And finally, the model in white, the color specified by the 1970 FIA regulations for German racing cars.

That’s how the vehicle should start the race. Just before the race has started, the vehicles were repainted in red – with this gimmick Mercedes could successfully prevent that italian fans along the streets threw stones on those vehicles. Because of the red colour, in which normally only the Italian racing cars were painted, the spectators did not recognize the German cars directly as such, in this way the double victory was achieved.

CMC has also succeeded in finding new and previously unknown archive material.
On this historically unique basis, we have adapted the vehicles. So they have outside gasoline pipes and, most importantly, based on the new knowledge, correct narrow racing tires. Also today we are sure that the vehicles were carrying two spare wheels at the rear and considered this accordingly.
